SK-II. The Miracle of Rebirth for Skin and Soul

In Japan, they call it holy water. We call it SK-II.

Gisele, Kate Moss, Stella McCartney, Chloe Sevigny and Jade Jagger are all fans of SK-II and supposedly Narciso Rodriguez relies on the rejuvenating masks during fashion week – that’s pretty impressive!

The story behind this brand - A Japanese monk visiting a sake brewery approximately 25 years ago was amazed that elderly workers, who handled the fermenting sake, had remarkably silky, youthful hands. The Monk decided to conduct a series of experiments to see how this was possible and eventually discovered what would later be named Pitera. Pitera is the almost miracle ingredient in all of SK-II products - a nutrient-rich liquid yielded only through a precise fermentation process with one variety of yeast. Pitera enables the skin's natural rejuvenation process, resulting in clearer, smoother and more radiant skin and contains a collection of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and organic acids.

The SK-II line has several products to Purify, Renew and Enhance your skin. Who wouldn’t want to look young and luminous for as long as they could?

Available at Saks Fifth Avenue and Holt Renfrew

Recently here in HK, news regarding that SK-II contained ingredients that can cause cancer was all over the TV.

Well, be more cautious if you'd use SK-II. :)
