Dessert Beauty - Get it while you can!

I have found a new lipgloss that I really like but it has recently been discontinued!

I went into Sephora yesterday and they had a couple of the Jessica Simpson Deliciously Kissable Plumping Lip Fragrance Gloss. I know it sounds really cheesy but it is actually a nice little gloss - and at only $5.00 USD how can you say no?! The one I bought is Slide - a peachy nude with gold shimmer. It smells good, feels light on the lips and has a fantastic shimmer to it.

I have heard that in Canada they can be found at Liquidation World of all places. Be careful where you get it as some places are charging way too much for this item. I found that your-cosmetics.com is selling it for $18.00 USD.

I think I am going to buy some more and give them as stocking stuffers at Christmas!

Find Your Inner Balmshell

Jennifer and Fiona Lees from Toronto were in the search of the perfect lipgloss - aren't we all! They decided if they couldn't find it, they would develop their own. After years of working with a cosmetic manufacturer they developed a formula using only the finest ingredients to produce a high-shine, moisturizing lip-gloss.

What really caught my eye when I saw this product is the packaging. Balmshell has developed the most unique, creative packaging, I think I have ever seen. Each of the 10 glosses has its own floating art story inside - kind of like those pens you can get.

DARLING YOU LOOK FABULOUS
Sheer Hot Cherry Red ~ for those fabulous nights on the town!

Illustration description
This is a story of how a Balmshell prepares for a night out on the town. The story begins with a woman wrapped in her favorite plush terry cloth towel as she is getting ready for the big night. She then glides behind a changing screen and when she comes out, "Ta-Da!" she is effortlessly dressed and ready. She looks into the mirror and thinks to herself, "Darling you look fabulous!"

Each amusing story aims to celebrate the inner goddess that exists in all women.

When finished with your lip gloss unscrew the "float art" top and screw it into the keychain component provided in the packaging.

So far these delightful art glosses are only available in Canada and the UK but Balmshell will be opening their online store in the next little while so keep your eyes peeled.

Do you like to Smoke?

Have you ever tried to create a dramatic smoky eye effect and ended up looking like you were a racoon? I know that I have! Well ladies have I got the product for you…DuWop has just launched their new eye shadow kit called “Smoke”.

These palettes come in 4 fantastic colours: Black Gold, Navy Seal, Olive Branch and Plum Wine (pictured below) and contain creamy cake eyeliner, shimmery powder eye shadow and two professional quality brushes.

I put it to the test to see if I could achieve “Smoke”...

Following the instructions that are cleverly attached to the back of the palette, I began using the little eyeliner brush to apply the cream liner to the outer edges of my upper and lower lashes. I gently dipped the larger brush into the shimmer powder and swept it in short strokes over the liner. Depending on the intensity you wish to achieve, you can apply more shimmer powder. Then using the larger brush, I blended the powder up to my crease line and voila, a smoky eye effect was achieved.

This three step process is quick, easy and gives you the perfect Fall look. All you need to do is decide which colour to pick!

Available at Sephora
$28.00 USD
www.duwop.com

I should also let you know that DuWop's website has had a makeover and it looks great! One new feature that you will want to check out is the interactive Buzz Babe forum, where you can read about the latest and greatest DuWop news, celeb gossip, and members might get a chance to score some free DuWop loot!

Well have a great rest of the day and we'll see you tomorrow!
