L'Oreal Fashion Week

100_2022

It has been a very busy week for me. I have been attending shows at L'Oreal Fashion Week in Toronto. This year they decided to go New York-esq and have put up a tent.

Here are a couple of snaps from inside the tent. I'll provide some beauty coverage next week.

Beauté Cosmetics

Incredibly ambitious. Noted Canadian makeup artist. Creative Director for Beauté. That's 25 year old Beau Nelson, whom I met at the Holt Renfrew last night.

Nelson takes glamour extremely seriously and is in the process of creating the ultimate luxury beauty brand, item by marvellous item.

Beauté currently includes 12 seductive Luminous Volume Glosses and a collection of 14 luxury makeup brushes.

Already a hit with the 'A List' crowd, Nelson informed me that J Lo loves to wear Luminous Volume Gloss in Skin Trade (a sheer creamy beige) and Medusa (creamy pink beige).

Keep your eye on Beauté as their collection of exclusively designed lines of shadows, powders and lip treatments are in the final stages of production and should be in the marketplace very soon.

"Beauté is at once luxe and functional. Combining the best in packaging innovation, superior product formulation and unique wearable color, Beauté is the evolution of makeup."

Pure Divine

P&G Beauty recently released their new line of body washes - Pure Divine. As a sister brand to the popular Gillette Venus razors, the Moisturizing Body Wash and Gentle Exfoliating Body Wash are here to assist us gals with keeping our entire body silky smooth and soft.

Boys, hands off - these jewel toned, feminine bottles contains scents only for us goddesses: Paradise, Waterlilly and Blossom:

- Paradise is an exotic fragrance with notes of mandarin, coconut and lily-of-the-valley
- Waterlily is a classic, fresh, romantic fragrance with notes of peony, jasmine and sweet vanilla
- Blossom is a lush, watery, sophisticated floral with notes of crisp pear, passion fruit, juicy pineapple and blackberry
The Moisturizing Body Wash contains two visible ribbons or "waves" that separate the cleanser from the moisturizer - one wave cleanses and wraps the body in fragrance and the other has moisturizers to nourish the skin, creating a smoothness that lasts from morning till night.
The Exfoliating Body Wash cleanses the skin and gently with its luxurious lather and sweeps away dull, dry skin, making it perfect for use before shaving.

I was in Paradise when I tried Paradise! I just loved the gentle fragrance and the feel of my skin after using both products.
