Veiled Effort

Every beauty girl worth her weight in lip balm knows the potential consequences (a few that come to mind are premature aging and skin cancer) that come with sunscreen skimping. Problem is, while we’re super-diligent about applying our SPF pre-espresso, we often balk at the thought of round two by lunch. Layering white liquid over creamy blushes and gilded eyeshadows conjures up an image of a circus performer caught in the rain. With an extra-shiny finish, no less.

That’s why Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 30 is so ridiculously amazing. It’s a brush on powder that deposits oil-absorbing minerals with UVA/UVB blockers onto skin instantly, and can be layered over makeup or worn alone. It’s also a savior when you’re left without your precious sunhat and your scalp is left exposed.

Dust it on midday to banish shine and keep your skin protected. It feels super light and gives skin a translucent, matte finish—thanks to the boatload of skin nourishing ingredients like mica, iron oxides, willow bark and vitamins A, C and E.

Last but not least—it’s portable. So there, no excuses.

I carry one in my handbag and leave one in the car. It's great to brush on your hands while you are driving. Love this.
