Made For Me Naturals

Have you ever tried to find that perfect nude lipstick shade? I have and can never get it right - It's always either too beige, too pink or just blah. L'Oreal has solved this problem by developing the Colour Riche Made For Me Naturals collection - 7 nude shades that harmonize with every women's colouring.

Working with hair-colour-based makeup branding, the Made For Me Naturals are broken into four groups: Blondes, Light-Brown, Brunette, Chestnut-Brown.

Nude Pinks (Blondes)

Nude Mauves (Chestnut Brown Hair)

Nude Rose (Light-Brown Hair)

Nude Browns (Brunettes)

My friend Rowena and I were looking at the entire collection and were able to easily decipher which were the correct shades for us. I have light brown hair so I am Cashmere. Rowena is darker skinned so Organza and Sienna are for her.

I cannot tell you how pleased I am that my perfect nude lipstick hunt is over. Now onto the search for the perfect concealer!

Made For Me Naturals will be available February, 2008.

Clinique Spring 2008

Discover Clinique's latest collection - Nude Blush. Spring's prettiest, fresh-faced look is all about softly muted shades on eyes, cheeks and lips. And a focus on gorgeous, glowing skin.

I am a very lucky gal and was able to sample these products over the Holidays. I was in Florida so the usually seasonal collections were too heavy for the gorgeous hot weather. These shades and textures were just what I needed to stay pretty and light throughout the summer-esq days.

Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo Stay Matte
Creamy, natural looking matte shadow that provide intense colour. These shadows are Ophthalmologist tested, so even the most sensitive eyes can wear them.

I have been enjoying the splash duo which I can either apply softly for daytime or layer on for a evening event.

Colours: Butter Pecan (shown), Chocolate Kiss, Pink Slate and Splash

Cream Shaper for Eyes (Limited Edition Duo)

Creamy-smooth limited-edition dual-end pencil defines with a hint of shimmer. Non-smudging, water-resistant. Ophthalmologist tested.

I wear Chocolate Lustre on the top lashes and Cocoa Simmer on the bottom and on the rim. The colours make my blue eyes pop.

Colours: Brown Sugar/Chocolate Lustre, Chocolate Lustre/Cocoa Simmer, Mink/Sable, Egyptian/Brightening Gold (shown)

Lash Power Mascara in Black Onyx
Look pretty for 24 hours without a smudge or smear. Lashes are strengthened and lengthened with a special precisiion brush that coats each individual lash evenly, lushly. To remove just splash warm water on lashes several times and press gently. Or, wet a cotton pad with warm water, press to eye, then wipe away.

I found that Lash Power was able to get to every single little lash and make them look full. Even when the weather was sweltering hot, my mascara stayed in place.

Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick (Limited Edition)
A revolutionary gel formula that delivers the shine of a gloss with the comfort of a lipstick. Lips are drenched in moist, lush colour that glides on buttery-smooth and feels luxurious.

I am addicted to Fresh Rose. Very pretty.

Colours: Deep Bloom (shown), Fresh Rose, Nude Blush and Spring Rose.

Blended Face Powder and Brush in Invisible Blend
Loose, lightweight powder that's right for every type of skin.

I have been using this on it's own to take away any trace of shine and it provides me with a flawless, natural look.

Blushing Blush Powder Blush Trio (Limited Edition)

A fresh, jet-milled trio of colour that is applied with a custom-sculpting brush to provide the most natural and long-wearing look.

Colours: Bare Nudes, Bare Pinks

Reader Review: While You Were Sleeping

I recently began using several of Kohl's beauty products and must say that I do enjoy them all, however the one I want to talk to you about now is While You Were Sleeping Overnight Moisture Cream. It can be found in the Grassroots section - which makes it an all organic product.

I have very dry skin and look for creams that will improve my skin and keep it from looking dry and flaky. You apply the cream at night before going to bed to allow your face 6 to 8 hours of repair while your body is at full rest and not experiencing any stress levels. The first night I used the cream I fell in love with the product. I have tried many creams and some I have enjoyed, others not so much. This is absolutely the best cream I have tried so far and must say I will not waiver from this one. The softness of my skin immediately after applying is incredible.
