K-Palette Liquid Liner

I really like the look of liquid eyeliner but I am so challenged when it comes to applying it. Well, I have found one that makes me seem like a makeup artist! K-Palette's Real Lasting 24 Hour Eyeliner has a patented micro-fibre brush with the finest tip, allowing me to have complete control, and precise crisp lines.

The packaging may not look flashy but this eyeliner is designed to stay smudge-proof and tear-resistant throughout busy days and nights, and it does. After applying my liquid liner, I waited a couple of seconds then ran my fingers over my lids to try and smudge it. Nothing. Then I went to the sink, ran some water and splashed my face. I blinked several times and...nothing. When I did eventually want to take it off, I used my Kiehl's eye makeup remover, and off it came.

If you have not seen this brand before, that is because it is from Japan and has recently made the trip to North America. I predict that it will be a best seller in North America.

Embrace Your Inner Venus

The quickest way to smooth legs is a razor, and 50% of Canadian women recently surveyed by Venus said that they would rather have a coffee stain on a white blouse than have an unshaven leg!

My original go-to for fuzz free legs was always the Gillette Venus Divine and I loved my razor, but I now have a new love...the Gillette Venus Embrace.

With its 5 curve-hugging blades and the new protective 'ribbon of moisture' surrounding them, the razor effortlessly glides over my skin, ensuring that I get to all those little hairs - including on and around my knobbly knees (thank you to my hubbie for calling them that the other day).

I have been using my new razor for a couple of weeks now and have not nicked myself once! I am so happy. I hate those cuts that you don't realize you have, and then BAM! You see the blood and feel that stinging.

The experts tell me that it is best to 'shave after you shampoo'. In other words wait for a couple of minutes so that the hair softens and is easier to cut. Use your favourite shaving gel or cream (mine is currently the new Satin Care Alluring Avocado Shave Gel), and a light touch.

Once I am done using my razor, I just hang it up in the little white shower pod that comes with the razor. Very convenient.

Have you tried this razor? What do you think?
